After growing up on Bainbridge Island, Washington, I attended the Northern Arizona School of Business, then moved to the Netherlands to attend the Hogeschool Haarlem School of International Business, and soon after started a bicycle taxi business with my brother Erik while living out of a tent in Valdez, Alaska.  Erik and I created the children's book, and I then moved to New York and worked on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange as a trader for the following 3 years.  The imminent move toward automation and a major shift in the environment of the NYSE prompted me to pursue another passion in teaching.  I attended Western Washington University for two years, getting my teaching degree, and taught 5th grade for several years, ultimately settling in Seattle to teach high school marketing, business, video production, graphic design and photography.  Presently I am working with two fashion companies in Seattle, Leo Legion, a men's workout wear clothing company (creative director), and Saziru Threads, a high end fashion house selected for New York Fashion Week in 2022.  If you are interested in contract work or collaborations feel free to contact me using the email below.
